The update also fixes a problem that made players clip into stairs.
There are many fixes in the new Season 3 update as well, including a fix for a bug that caused players to become stuck in AA turrets if they interact with it at the same time it was destroyed. Developer Raven Software said this extra step was causing "unnecessary friction." Here's what's on tap for Season 3 Elsewhere, the Season 3 update does away with the confirmation UI when making a purchase from a Buy Station. What's more, players who successfully earn their way out of the Gulag will now return to the game more closely to their team or dropped loadout. In terms of general changes, the Season 3 update allows players to use the gas mask while pulling their parachute, while the Most Wanted contract sees its timer reduced. Players who successfully destroy the target will get an armored truck delivered via plane.
There is also a new "Sabotage" contract that gives players a vehicle target somewhere on the map. Also, players will immediately notice that Warzone's skybox has changed to tease a storm on the horizon. The Warzone map also now has more new locations, including Dig Site, which hosts the skeletons of massive creatures. Season 3 also brings back the popular and fan-favorite Iron Trials mode (for the first time on Caldera), while another standout for the new season is a new Gulag called Hold, which is set on a ship.
